Wilderness Montessori is the realization of the dream of a passionate Montessorian of over two decades — to guide children through an education based on Montessori theory and enlivened by nature.  The center is surrounded by pastoral and forest environments, with daily excursions into the surrounding ecosystem.  Our days are filled with care of plants and animals, observations of nature in the wild and conceptual grounding in the diversity of all knowledge and life.

We are located in Central Virginia and are a short distance from the towns of Fredericksburg, Culpeper, Orange and Spotsylvania, Virginia.  The center is situated on a 22 acre farm that is nestled in privacy, but very accessible from nearby towns.  We are always open to visitors, so please reach out through our Contact form!
