The goal of Wilderness Montessori Center is twofold:

  1. To support parental choice of homeschooling, by offering a 3-day program that encompasses strengthening conceptual understanding in all disciplines (custom designed for development/ability of child), with a focus on mathematical and language applications. This work is coupled with geometry, history, geography, biology, music and art. The culmination of our program is time spent in nature with exploration, hikes, plant/animal care and scientific observation.
  2. To support parental choice of increasing their child’s abilities/instincts in nature, by spending selective days at Wilderness Montessori. This option may supplement public or private academic study in other systems that do not offer time and study in the natural world.
